Introducing the #saveourtown parkrun!
Join us on June 30th to show your support for the #saveourtown campaign at the Luton parkrun, a weekly event held at Wardown Park.
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to runners of all standards, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
The very lovely people at Luton parkrun are allowing the #saveourtown campaign to host a special event at the run on June 30th.
Our campaign ambassadors will be on hand with stickers, flyers and balloons, as well as answering any of your questions about #saveourtown and what it hopes to achieve.
Each week parkrunners grab a post run coffee in the Luton Town and Indians Cricket Club, and we’ll be there too!
We know that the record for the most amount of runners at this event is 402 – we’d love it if we could smash this record and show the amount of support for this campaign in the town.
So if you support the #saveourtown campaign, or just want to find out more, please join us for what promises to be a brilliant morning!
