The Visiting Superheroes
Today we’d like to celebrate the work of some true local heroes! Visiting Superheroes LU1 & Visiting Heroes LU2 are a group of friends that have collectively pulled together raising money for our beloved NHS at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Lee Evans, who is also a programme seller at Luton Town Football Club, said: “This is our local hospital and we want to give something back to the L&D staff and wards. We are running around the streets of LU1 and LU2 during our permitted daily exercise to bring joy to the families and put a smile on their faces, whilst raising money for such an amazing cause! Of course, we are always abiding by the government social distancing guidelines.”
